Saw Dust with wood mix
« on: September 01, 2016, 07:47:40 PM »

There is a saw mill about 30 minutes away that sells large loads of saw dust mixed with limited wood scraps. I have heard from others that people buy this and put it into there wood boilers. I have a BL-2840 and was wondering if anyone has tried this. Just wondering if it is work me getting a load this winter to mix in with my wood.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

I’d think you’d want to store the sawdust inside or make sure it stays tarped and sitting high and dry, I’ve tried to burn piles of chips from the firewood processor and if it gets wet forget it.
