I posted a video of a GS 200 on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4puAePPC6zc&t=6s

For some reason it uploaded with some weird blurry sections. We'll see if youtube cleans things up or I need to upload again. The one on my phone is fine..??

The longer I burn a GS the more I like it.

Very nice informative video on the new model.

From my understanding all the "important" stuff is the same as the G series with less frills on the GS.

Pretty much, same efficiency numbers, same overall design, same limited lifetime warranty, just minus a few convenience features like the EZ clean handle and smokeless loading. Kinda like comparing my Polaris Ranger with the soft cab to one with the hard cab, AC and heat. Both do the same thing, one is just more comfortable to work with.

Personally I like the GS level of features more the longer I run it. Simple without a lot of extras but the things I expect to work day in and day out haven't been compromised.
It has a very easy to use flue shaker system, just inside the swinging rear door.
It compares very well with other downdraft units on the market. If the G series didn't exist we'd think the GS was a top end unit. It's funny how our expectations change based on what we start with.
Longevity and efficiency should be no different than a G.
