I know it all varies but What's your guys wood usage on the ridgewood this past season? I ordered one and it should be delivered soon, woodshed is built, pipe in ground, about 15 cords in a pile outback from tree service. I'm ready for this stove!

Compared to past winters, this one has been brutal. Everyone is using more wood and many are running out. I figure I've used around 13-14 full cords this year. It does vary and depends on how well your home is insulated, how much you are heating, wood quality, etc. Bottom line is if your water stays warm, your draft door doesn't open.

So how did everyone's ridgewood do this season. My first season with my 6000 went great. Had no problems at all.

Not a lick of trouble during my first year. In fact I'm still running the stove at this time.

I got my stove on order. Craig says he will be calling sometime this week with the delivery date. Went with the z-supply double tile and going to run it through pvc like Scott suggested. Hope all goes well so I can give my official review.

I'm still in the market for one, I'm thinking 6000 I think I could get away with the 2000 but I rather not to fill it as often. I'm glad you guys had success with your Ridgewood stoves. I just have to get the money together for a stove.

Got my stove delivered yesterday. The delivery guy got his truck stuck in my yard because his 4wd wouldn't engage then he ran over my well stem with trailer which was out of the way from where I directed him to go then found out he forgot all the documents pertaining the the stove and the stove is missing the chimney restriction plate. Other than that the stove looks well made and Craig is taking care of the other miss happs. So far I'm stll happy stuff happens I guess and the costumer service so far is top notch.
