Water Temperature Crashed
« on: February 18, 2013, 05:56:06 PM »

Forgot to turn the draft blower fan back on after loading the stove last night!  Water temp fell to 100...forced air blower in the house still kicking on and off as normal and the house stayed warm.  I didn't even notice until shower time due to the cold dhw!

Is there a more efficient set up than water to air?  I'm impressed

push the water from your plate exchanger or what ever you use  into the bottom of the hot water tank and leave teh tank on...just for such an occasion....mine was got hammered christmas eve one time and had no hot water for morning showers...wifey was not a happy camper...a few KW of power is much easier to swallow than wifeys sharp tounge during hangover!!
