Are you worried about the smoke when loading?  mine is about 5 feet out side the building and it back smokes into the building to the point of choking at times.  I think I'm going to build some sort of diverter to help keep it out. Just asking

Ive seen folks do that and drop a hood with a big exhaust fan above the door, they do trap smoke like crazy

As for the smoke, the picture doesn't do it justice.  The center of the building is approx 10 feet high and I am only 5 feet high and the ends are open.  I'm sure it will smoke up some, but my heater and firewood are under cover and me too if the  weather is bad.  Trading some good for some bad maybe but we will see!! ;D

Thats awesome! I was thinkin of doin something like that too maybe next year. Was thinkin an exhaust fan also. Let us know how it is  :thumbup:
