Title: Another heatmor question
Post by: nd guy on April 26, 2017, 05:48:30 PM
Does anyone have or had a Heatmor 175SSE? What is their heating capacity(square feet)?

I looked at one a while back.  They dealer said 4-5000  sqft.  I think the 200css is now the replacement maybe... that one is rated for 5000sqft.

Talked to an older Heatmor dealer and he said they were a short lived model that had less features then the 200. For the cost consonance buyers.

I figured it was something down those lines.  I know it didn't stick around long.  It was years back when I looked at one, he sold it (thankfully) and I ended up going the winter with my pellet stove instead.  When propane went sky high at almost 7 a gallon and pellet wood was on the rise at over 150 a ton I went and got me a wood stove then and didn't look back at the heatmor.  Ended up getting a model a xp worker has and I've been happy with it.  Bought mine factory direct from the Amish.  It's about middle of the line for efficiency and same for heat and smoke.
