I’ve never found one attached on me, lots of indian food like curry, vindaloo’s etc. Also I tend to use regular ole black pepper, garlic and tabasco like some use salt.

I sold campfire wood for 7 or 8 years, would spend a lot of time in the woods all summer long, mosquitos and deer flies were an annoyance but never worried about ticks.

Was in the bush last fall and we were ok, but the dog came home with 5. Had her in to the vet a week ago for a regular check-up, all was good and blood tests came back negative. But in conversation with the vet, she mentioned they had 7 tick removal cases in January.

My oldest dog tested positive for Lyme just a few months ago, got her treated and she is totally different.

The ticks here are horrible here. Just started to get nice here and already had 3 tick bites in 3 weeks. None on me long enough to do any damage thankfully. I haven't even been in the woods either this was all from around the outer edges of the yard. Been letting the wifes chickens out loose so they can eat some of them.

Pea fowl are also great at eating ticks although they are nasty to eat and the dumbest thing on two legs other than a politician.

I never tried eating a peafowl but can't be as bad as the food you mentioned above.   lol

when we had the guineas there were no ticks anywhere around the yard , even in the tall grass and they are really good to eat. Only problem is everything around here like to eat them. Between hawks , foxes , and coyotes they don't last long.

My neighbor offered to drop off a few Guineas at my place for the ticks, I've been at his place when they sound off, no thanks, I'm not sure but I think guineas are the reason God made shotguns!

Don’t knock it till you try it, I make a pineapple mango curry that changes most peoples minds right quick, must be served with basmati rice as well. Indian doesn’t have to be hot enough to strip paint, that’s just how I like mine.
