Never gave it a thought about all the refineries in Texas, news just said expect gas and oil prices to rise.

My friend broddi lives north of San Antonio and said Houston is evacuating by boat and have had nearly 60" of rainfalls

There's saying up here in my part of NH that 1 inch of rain is equivalent to 1 foot of snow; 60 inches of rain = 60 FEET of snow.  My green tractor with the snow blower can handle it!   ;)  Seriously, I cannot fathom that amount of rain.  Roger

Wonder how this pipeline shutdown will affect fuel prices. Sounds like it'll be up again soon but wow- the whole east coast could be brought down by a few pipeline shutdowns.

Talked to my supplier today, there are a couple plants shut down he gets supplies from. I shure hope Trump gets these people on there feet.

World market crude oil prices opened at around 47 dollars per barrel again this morning so I don't think there is a need to panic yet!

Yeah, plenty of oil around, it's a refinery/pipeline issue. Kinda like to polar vortex propane crunch we had a few years ago.
