I have a WD8000.... and have been reading all the bad news about them...  fwiw.... try to bargain down the price but I would give it a shot to run it... if it works good... if not.. oh well... maybe the fix will be cheap.. but I would run it til it dies.. thats what I am going to do with mine... because trying to get them to honor the warranty would cost more than replacing the unit.

I take possesion on April 1, still cold out here so I am going to start it up in early april, any books on how to do it? Where do I check levels etc...Is there an owners manual out there?
