Nice.
Yup, last week's cool nights had me itching for fall. It didn't last long enough. :)

I see you have an exhaust fan above the stove, I'm curious how it works. Oh well, cold weather will be here soon enough.

Do these stoves have a smoke bypass?

Do these stoves have a smoke bypass?

No, they have a "load switch" which activates the fan motor for 120 seconds. I hit the load switch, crack the door and it clears the smoke pretty quick. Not quite as convenient as the smoke bypass (I had a g200 last season), but, one less area to have issues with as well. My smoke bypass was the reason my first G200 had to be replaced within the first 90 days on operation. The metal where the hole is cut for the bypass was bent and the bypass would not make a tight seal, which results in little to no gasification. I actually talked to my dealer the other day and after many attempts to try and fix it over the next year, he is finally just sending it back to the plant as there is nothing he can do with it.

You have had a g200 and a crown pristine. These 2 are my top 2 choices for replacing my natures comfort.  I know the crown you have is bigger but how would you compare wood consumption between the 2 and the build quality?  Thanks.

wood consumption is very comparable. both are a solid unit and burn clean and efficient.

Thanks for the info.  I am hoping to take a look at both this summer and make a choice if I can sell my 5 year old NC175.
