water level light
« on: April 03, 2016, 05:35:23 AM »

I replaced the water temp light last year because it wasn't working anymore.  Had to purchase the whole unit because they didn't sell the LED anymore.   :(

We had a power outage yesterday for about an hour and the light is off again.  I thought my water level might be low so added some.  Didn't take much.  I cycled the furance off and back on at the breaker thinking that might reset everything.  The power flickered several times before going completly off for about an hour.  I wonder if that thing is voltage sensitive and a surge fried it?

Do I have to purchase another light module again?

Anyone else run into that problem.

answered my own question.  I took the green cover off and wiggled the bulb around a bit and the light came back on.   Don't quite no what happened.  Maybe there was a bit of corrosion in somewhere.
