Those request timeouts are not helping for sure but are not the whole problem.

Well back when dirt was new and dinosaurs still wandered the earth I played a MMORPG and a request timeout would mean your dead.

Of course a few seconds waiting on a forum page to load isn't a big deal, in a game your dead.

You could try contacting your ISP and see if they have any suggestions. If you haven't changed your DNS address go ahead and try that, if your using a router change it to 8.8.8.8 if your not using a router and your computer connects direct then go into your network settings and change it their to a DNS of 8.8.8.8
