Can't say about the 362 but, I have a 361 that I've had for years with no problems and that thing ROCKS!

I put my woodburner under a 20x20 carport. Cut a hole in the roof for the chimney. I store my wood on hayracks and park one beside my furnace. This way my wood stays dry and is close by. When I empty a rack I pull it out and back in a new one. I will try to post some pics but I have to take some first. BTW, my carport has sides but no front or back and is on a cement slab from a building I tore down. Bark, wood trash, etc isn't a problem if you clean it up occasionally.

We run 4 planters in the spring and keeping all those monitors working can be a challenge. Whenever I get a call about a problem my first question is always "Did you turn it off and back on again?". Fixes the 80% of the time.

Those things are a dime a dozen around here. In the '90's when hogs were selling for $8 per hundred, the hog farmers shut down operations and let facilities rot. LP tanks are everywhere.

Two pics attached.

When we split wood it goes on hayracks. No ordinary hayracks but ones I make. There are a lot of 8,10 and 12 ton wagon running gears that no one has a use for so you can get them for $50-$75. Get steel H or I beams from the recycler for another $25. I use old hog flooring, 1/8 steel rod interwoven, with 1/8 by1-1/2 flat for frame. I let these hayracks sit outside until the fall before I need them. Just before harvest harvest starts I back them into an open front cattle shed that I no longer use for cattle. When I need a load of wood I pull one out and then back it under the carport where the boiler is. Each hayrack holds approx. 4 cords.

Fire Wood / Re: Scored bunch of wood from tree service

Congrats. I also have a friend with a tree service and when he has a job to big for his trucks and trailers to haul, he calls me. I help cleaning brush while he loads my dump trailer. You wouldn't believe how much wood they can get in a 14x7 dump.

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of you. I came down with a bad headcold 2 days ago so I stayed home while the rest of the family celebrated. It really burns me when sick people spread it to everyone.
Cold here too. 7 right now. Need to load the furnace a bit heavier tonight.

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: Running the pump while away

We go south every winter for a few weeks and always leave the pumps running.  I don't use any glycol so I need to do something to keep the water from freezing. We set the LP furnace at 50 and the water stays about 80 in the boiler.

To me it looks like a Farmall F-12 and a Farmall H. They do have some value but not seeing them up close it's hard to say how much.

I made something like Revx but it warped and twisted due to the heat. For this year I put 3/8 carriage bolts between the bricks. So far so good.

Got a new F-150 and the dealer tried to sell me one of those that shut off at every stop. No way I'm replacing starters every 30K.

Those guys were truely great musicians. I also like the Eagles, excellent music. Bob Seger tells great stories with his songs. George Strait was also a great entertainer, I really like the way he could stand on a stage, sing and play his guitar without all the flash and jumping around.

General Discussion / First Gas Cans, Now This
« on: August 22, 2017, 10:13:43 PM »
OK. We all know the frustrations we have went through with Obama's gas cans. They suck, we all know it, and we have spent our money to fix them. Now we have another Obama left over to fix, Turkey Cookers or any other LP appliance.
I got a new turkey cooker yesterday and it had this bullcrap on it that I had to reset every 15 minutes or it would shut off the gas and make the cooker go out. Needless to say, it has been fixed so it will run properly, but why did I have to waste my time doing this. I am not as stupid as Barrak Obama, so why do I have to waste my time fixing things designed to keep him from hurting himself? Someone as stupid as him, needs hurt.
