Warped plate on inside of door
« on: October 18, 2014, 02:36:05 PM »

Any of you Legend owners have a problem with the plate on the inside of the door warping?  It it the plate with holes in it for the fan to blow air into the firebox.  It is about the same size as the door

My plate is also warped. I have the 4135 it did it the first season. The air still blows in ok tho. I dont know if a thicker plate would have been better or not. But as for operation of the stove i see no problem. Fired mine up a couple weeks ago just to check things out. One thing i did tho this year i installed a 200 degree cut off sensor on my hot line leaving the stove. I noticed last year my aquastat did not shut off at my cut off temp one time and it got a little hot. Waiting for it too get cold enough to fire err back up.

Mine is warped as well, and see no issues.  And mine is on its second season as well.
