I'm not sure but it's a possibility. I am going to look into straightening it so I can use it but not sure what that will end up as.
It's not damaged all that bad but it's mostly on the top where the damper solenoid seals off the air to the blower. I don't guess that is totally critical since it has no gasket but it sure needs better than it is currently.

This little cold spell down here in Whitetop kinda caught me with by drawers down ;D

I always loved working challenging tasks but seems like as I get older I sure hate dealing with my own LOL!

Thanks for the suggestions

Hawken Energy, support only / Air Box for HE1100

Does anyone have any idea where I might obtain an airbox for this furnace? The part I need is the piece where the blower intake mounts to and where the damper solenoid seals. I had to move and my stove went with me but suffered some damage in the process. I think I can straighten the rest hopefully and make it work. At least I hope so this is the first time we have been without some form of heat in our 20+ years of marriage :(  So I definitely need to make something work :)

Thanks
WT

I plan on replacing mine this summer providing it doesn't go totally off the charts before then.

Thanks for the information!
I will look into an additional pump. Connecting to the pump would probably be easier anyway :)

I have the same OWB and it does just fine in warm to moderately cold weather but when the temps dip in the teens and single digits I can't keep thing above 140° to save me. Dry wood is a premium here in my part of VA since it rains every other day it seems but what I'm using is dry locust, may have a little dry snow on it but I can knock most of that off before loading in the stove.

I've tried everything I can think of except soaking the wood in fuel oil :)

I'm open for any ideas :) It heats my house perfectly when I can keep fire in the thing! Seem like I close the door and it smothers but there is plenty of smoke out the stack so I don't think there is a restriction..and it also runs year round to heat my water.

Thanks!
Wayne
