Hi All,
My Water temp stuck in the low 160's with E-2400
Very glad you are here.
I suspect that the gasket for the flap that is opened and closed by the handle is faulty.
We continue to go through the wood rather fast.
Havn't seen 170deg water for several days.
It was cycling up to 190deg.
whatdoyathink?

Thanks,
bro d

The fire was on the outside of the burner.  Wood caught on fire and fried the left side of the e2400.
Had to replace the insolation but it works fine.
The Led on that side of the burner is toast and the wiring and the led need to be replaced.
I believe that it is called the secondary Led.

A dealer inquired at the factory and I was told to buy a classic edge primary led kit.

I want to replace what i had.

Had a fire outside my 2400 and the 2ndary light (LED) was toast.
Plus the wire near the led has to be replaced also.
I consulted with an expert{?) and they claimed that the part I needed is P/N 2500144.
Got the part (kit) and it's a Classic Edge Primary Light Kit and appears to have nothing to do with a 2400.

I need to replace the 2ndary Led (other side from the control panel) and the wiring with the right part.
Any body up on thiese issues?

"preciated it

Hi All,
Central boiler sent techs from my retailer to fix the side handle binding problem.
After denying the problem for a year they made a bushing that is beefy-er and now the thing is working perfect.
You Guys are great.
Thanks for being here.

Binding may be caused by a bushing in behind the side bypass handle itself that may be going bad. Probably not the upper paddle mechanism.

That makes sense.
Once it is free again it is fine.
I thought that it was a washer that slowly turns with use and is out of round or untrue thickness wise.  It is a bear to move right now.
thanks

Hi All,
New to forum.
On my E-2400 the side handle binds almost totally where it takes all my strength and weight to move it only part of the way up or down.
Have been able to work it free in the past but the factory denies the issue and am waiting again for the dealer to take an active interest, other than to call the factory for the third time.
Unit is 2 yrs old.

Any report of similiar issues?

Thanks,

bro d
