What a bunch of B S this is just another money grab by city or town.Look like they are trying to stop folks from installing boilers plane and simple. More SNOWFLAKE rules or should I say FLAKE rule.

It could be water in oil but with just changing tank filter may-be not. It could be air in line may-be when you changed
filter it was not tight and or fittings got Jared or line not tight when you changed things. These are some simple things that can be checked that could make it skip. You say it was running all summer fine if by chance you have in ground tanks and plenty of rain water could get in somehow??? You just gotta keep playing around and checking all
the little things. It might even be the transformer working but skipping at times. When ya do find out let us know what it was.

Deer you might want to put another cable clamp on you hook end, that is what is recommended in most cases some even more but for what you are doing I think two would be fine.

General Discussion / Re: Coyotes
« on: February 04, 2017, 12:29:35 PM »
Coyotes are canines and will explode in population if allowed to (no ACTIVE superior predator in the area).  Bobcats are showing up in Indiana now so it is only a matter of time that they too will need population reduction management.

Although I never really wanted to predator hunt, I have noticed a nice upswing in my local population of rabbits, Eastern wild turkeys, chukkar, and even red-tailed fox (central Indiana).  As such, I do go out and kill 5-10 coyotes per year with a very nice, inexpensive Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in .22-250 Remington (fantastic sub-1 MOA rifle for gun buffs out there  ).
Yep you are right had rabbits all over farm several folks hunted, now nothing around. I find the only rabbits were around house I think for safety from coyotes, now yotes are around so I got me a stainless Ruger 243 with a scope as these 73-year old eyes just ain't what they use to be with a 30/30 with open sights. Now look-out yotes can pick them off at 200-300 yards, keeps my old eyes sharp.

Fire Wood / Re: Not impressed with Husqvarna 732

I had a 372 until it was stolen, when you get a new saw the chain will stretch as it wares in. It will
need watching for a few hours. I think you will be impressed after a few tanks of fuel. A friend
bought a new saw and dealer had put the wrong gauge chain for the bar and it was binding up
I found this when he brought it to me,you gotta watch out for things like that. Am running a 288xp
now that I got on the list a little heavy but will out perform the 372xp. The 372xp will last you for many years and will rip after broken in.   GOOD LUCK

MY first boiler forgot to ground within 5 years was rusted through.New P&M put in 6 foot rod all the way in and grounded, three years now and not a sign of rust. Don't know if that is what caused first to rust but live and learn what's it cost to do it right less than $20 it cant heart
anything so why not and be safer for it.

Took pump completely off and disconnected both lines ..it's locked up.

CRAP Too bad we tried. Could take pump apart as it's not working but try
going back to where you bought it and see what they will do for ya.

Whitepine2 ..The pump is locked up, won't turn at all.
O.K. but is the line still capped this will stop pump, you cannot compress fluid?
If you uncapped line and pump is still not turning then trouble with pump did you try turning pump by hand or with a hand tool?

Don't think pump is bad if you capped the line it deadended and stalled the engine this is what the man said if engine ran pump is bad but it didn't run so pump good. Now test piston like the man said you will need to have a good connection for air as it will take some PSI's to move oil. Before you do that I would crack a line to piston then slowly pull valve and see if you got pressure
at cracked line try both line's to piston if no pressure may be valve that is not working. You might try to crack the return line from the valve with engine running and see what you have for pressure, just crack fitting slowly as oil will be flying if pump is good. Hope this helps.
