Solar Hot Water Collector
« on: March 24, 2018, 08:00:55 AM »

Anyone have experience on a solar water collector added up to the boiler loop? They are fairly cheap now, and was thinking it could help with Wood Usage during day at least... Anyone have this kind of setup?

I asked a similar question offer at Hearth awhile ago about vacuum tube solar collectors, general consensus was you’re better off investing that money in solar panels.
