how was the proformance of your hawken this year? an update of those who have had troubles in the past would be nice. I'm burning till april 3rd am. then i swith to propane, the average temp of that day is the same as the day i fired that dragon up this winter. The 2 happiest days of the year for me are the days i start it and the day she goes to sleep for the summer.

So far so good. It looks like we will use about the same amount of wood as we have the last three heating seasons,unless we get colder than average temps from now until the first week of June when I plan on letting the fire go out.
