i have the He2100 Hawken stove. not the global stove that I'm sure you have heard plenty about. I could not be happier the stove has run flawless for 2 winters now. I will be happy to answer any question that you may have.

What all do you heat w/ the 1100, I will be heating 2100 main level plus 2100 basement and 600ft garage and about 1200ft later in shop. I wasnt sure if 1100 was big enough.

He1100 would be under sized for all your needs. go with the 2100 and you will be move then happy. for the record with the highs in the 40s i'm getting 24 hour burn times between loads. thats including hot water, mind you i have 5 girls. So you can imagine the laundry and showers at our house. I heat a 2000sq ft tri-level all 3 floors are set at 72 degrees.

It has been a good worry free winter. I never got a 24 hour burn, but I saved a ton of money. Took me a while to figure it out, but it was a blessing in the end.

As a note to anyone considering buying a Hawken Furnace. The report that Hawken gives out that places their furnace at #1 is a report that the owner of Hawken developed and distributes for the sole purpose of making it appear that their furnace is at the top. There has been no such testing done and the report is nothing more that a sales ploy.
