Went to clean elbow today and one of the two self tap screws that hold the two angle pieces where the cotter pin goes thru was loose n hanging there the other side was still tight,it corroded was only letting cover open half way,changed them out with stainless bolts! Tried to post pic but web site with iPad won't let me?

Not sure why you can’t post with an iPad.

We normally keep a selection of stainless bolts and machine screws around for use on the fertilizer spreaders or anything thats around 10-34-0 or 28%.

I’ve painted a few tractors in the past and used stainless bolts on the side covers so you never get a rust streak down the paint.

I've replaced the bolts and plates with stainless steel a couple of years ago due to the same problem.  I haven't had ant trouble since I did that.  Roger
