Title: Unrolling 100 foot Pex
Post by: deew2525 on November 16, 2017, 11:43:57 AM
I found easy way to uncoil a long roll of pex pipe and keep it straight was to run hot water through it as you unroll it. I hooked it up to my water heater and a hose. I turned the thermostat up on water heater somewhat Just overbend it on ends and hold it in place works great!

Uh huh. Or if it's reasonably warm out I've laid one end under a truck tire and roll it out on the lawn and hold the other end down with something heavy. An hour in the sun does wonders

Yeah, we have said many times a way to preheat the underground lines before unrolling on a 10 degree morning would be great. :)

Stick a rubber stopper in each end then stick in a bath tub full of hot water.
