I've looked at those before and they are a nice looking machine.  Agreed it may be tough buying in the states especially if there's any issues with them.  Does anyone own one?  Only videos I can find are of the guy that builds them running them.  I do like though how he shows it splitting real life wood, not those perfect little knot free pieces most split in their demos.
