Title: Slightly Used HeatMaster C150
Post by: userdk on January 29, 2018, 04:01:06 PM
In the near future we will taking in on trade a HeatMaster C150. Previous owner used it for about two months and is upgrading to a larger model. Unit is in great shape and we're going to be asking about $4,900.

We're located in Northwestern Wisconsin near the small town of Almena.

Will that have tax on it as well? Neighbor guy called the other night and has sprung another leak in his Woodmaster, will probably be upgrading soon but he's on a pretty strict budget. This would be a good fit for him if the price is right

From us it would have tax on it.  Could maybe arrange for him to purchaser it from its current owner? I think that would eliminate sales tax.

Good thinking, that would work. He's gone until early next week but I'll run it by him when he gets back, see what he wants to do. He was looking at a 12 year old Empyre for $2500 when he called the other day which thankfully I talked him out of, but this is a good price on a much better unit so maybe I can raise his budget. I'll let you know if he wants to proceed. Thanks!
