Why do you not send me a verification email?? I've tried numerous times and waited weeks.  The follow up to post a topic is extremely annoying.  Extremely.  I can buy a 3000 dollar refrigerator without having to do all that online.

if your using a web based email they don’t show up for some reason.

The post approval is to cut down on spam, some days I’d spend up to half an hour doing nothing but tracking down spam posts and deleting them, the post approval has completely eliminated that.

Once you have your ten posts in you won’t have to wait to have your reply or post approved.

The email thing is annoying, however it could be a blessing in disguise, out of two dozen new apps only two were legit. When a email ends with @testoroneoneformen dot com or qusmqjynmu at neff78.cheap3ddigitalcameras dot com its a guaranteed spammer

I completely understand. I did not know after 10 posts that I wouldn't have to have the review either.  So I guess I'm on the way to a more pleasant expierence!

I was a little annoyed because I posted in the new member section and put on about 5 pictures of my OWB and saws and it didn't post.

Nice saw, 660?

I used to run Sachs Dolmars, still have em, sometimes though I just don’t have time to fart around with small engines, that and they can be quite trying of ones patience sometimes so I had a shop in the next town over where I bought em work on em the few times they needed something and I didn’t feel like farting with it. He retired, the only other place local that works on Dolmars is slower than molasses running uphill in a polar vortex.

Last time I had issues with my Sachs 120SI I was in my local hardware store and they just got a MS362 in, bought it on the spot, ran it for a week then picked up a used MS460 on Ebay, slapped a new bar on it, rebuilt the oiler and has ran great since. Traded two round bales of hay for an old 023, great for limbing and topping. Have since bought a Stihl Kombi and leaf blower.

I think Dad is afraid of all my saws except for the 023 and Sachs 112, if either one is down for any reason it’s like the end of the world till I fix em.

That is my newest saw.  661 with the AT carb.  Runs great so far.  My pops won't run a saw over 20" bar length either, not sure if it's him getting older or his old stubborn ways.  How do u like the stihl 4/2 cycle engine?  I've heard good things!

That Kombi is real torquey, but its also heavier so there is a trade off. The thing starts really easy all the time, most of the time zero need to even choke it. I also got the commercial/professional model instead of the homeowner.

I have so far for it:

The power broom, absolutely fantastic for cleaning rocks and gravel out of the yard after pushing snow all winter. Have tried it when cleaning grain bins out and it works very well but makes a lot of dust.

The weed whacker with a saw blade, makes cutting cat tails off  the electric fence just about effortless. Ditto for cutting any saplings out of fields that are no-tilled.

The edger, no matter how overgrown or the last time a sidewalk was edged, just head down it at walking speed, you can’t bog it down.

The hedge clipper, have a row of burning bushes in front of the house, don’t like em to get too tall as can’t see the road then, stand in back of the Polaris Ranger with the wife moving it as required and take maybe 15 minutes to do it, also takes a much larger branch than any electric ones I have ever seen.

Lastly have the pole saw, set it right on the branch at a dead idle, hit the trigger and it takes right off unlike the one it replaced where if you weren’t up to speed it would bog down and stall.

One of the better investments I have made far as “toys”.

I'll add that to my list of good things that I've heard.  My wife usually lets me purchase one new "toy" as she calls them every year during tax season for around 1000 dollars.  I think I've found my new tool... ahh I mean toy!  Thanks!
