Don't tell anyone
« on: April 23, 2018, 03:09:24 AM »

Keep this under your hat; I think spring has sprung here in New England.  It was in the mid 50's and sunny yesterday albeit a bit breezy.  Today may hit the 60's and sunny with most of the week seeing temps in the 50's and 60's.  Historically I've had the OWB shut down for the season before now so I believe it's safe to do so this week sometime.

I think it finally broke here in MN too. A week ago it was still 10 degrees and I was plowing a foot of newly fallen snow. Yesterday and today its in the 60's.
Probably let my stove go out this weekend.
Finally.......

Uh huh.... I shut mine down on Saturday and went for a motorcycle ride. Sunday was pretty nice and today was beautiful, darn near hot. Truck said 72 when I left Apple Valley this afternoon.

Last week was in the low 20's and had one of the biggest snow storms of the winter. Now today I was out working on my truck and the mosquitos were already swarming around.

A week ago there was sleet, freezing rain and snow coming down, the town really hit the roads with lots of salt and sand.  It's still too soon for me to take the motorcycle out for a ride; the salt will eat the frame and the sand will put you down real quick.  I believe tomorrow and Thursday we're expecting rain so that may be the ticket I need to get the motorcycle out on the road again.  Roger

Sorry to hear that.  Yesterday was absolutely beautiful here in NH and today is warmer still.  The next couple of days the temps will drop into the 50's and rain but that's still better than low 30's with ice and snow.  Next week we may hit the jackpot; mid 70's for 2 or 3 of the days.  And, with the nice weather comes an increase in eye candy - I work at an Ivy League institution.   8)   Roger

Seems nice to not have to tend to the fire, actually a little weird.
Winters coming.
