Crew1 and you too crew11 fill out your signature if you own boilers ??? If not are you planning on getting one? If the answer to that is no then find a better way to spend your time vs. using this site. This is a site for members that have or are planning on buying a outdoor boiler or build one and for those looking for information and help doing so, not those looking to gather up people for lawsuits. Now you have me wasting my time writing this post and everyone else's time to read what I just wrote.

Jwood this site is to be used as a resource for those buying and selling boilers and boiler accessories. I own one and have been denied service and warranty support by the company. I am not the only one. Others made similar posts.

Hopefully when I have to buy another one, probably soon unfortunately,  I will refer to the honest guys on this site. Until then I want to help others from making a bad decision. Thanks

Let me tell you how Craig and his puppet/minion Jim handles his industry leading company's warranty policy. In February 2014 he told me he would ship me out a Drop In Stack because the original stack burned out in the first year...for 10 months he said it was shipping. It never arrived. The latest reply from Craig was that I need to put firebricks on the to of the stack and cut off airflow which will slow down the burn and cut down on the wood used.

So for 10 months he was shipping the new drop in and all of a sudden he recommends firebricks as his warranty fix...this guy is wacked.

Really?? you waited ten months for something then griped about it not showing? Yes, 10 months I gave him the benefit of the doubt. After a month I should have started griping actually. Or in your case should I just have said "no problem don't send it" that makes NO SENSE. At what point do you demand the service you were promised?

you cant go an hour without posting how you were just stolen and robbed by this company and your dream team of lawyers are gonna bring them down..Actually I don't post every hour. These threads are time stamped so people can see that statement you made makes no sense!

...SHOW US THE PROOF! your posts are as lame and fake as your other usernames used to complain.
yes i know you have different ones. WRONG! timberlakecrew@gmail.com Matt, todd and the others throughout this thread are different people, sorry but you are wrong i am just timberlakecrew@gmail.com

I encourage everyone to debate, present information, etc. but please keep anything that could be perceived as personal attacks, threats, etc. off the OWFI.com message boards.  No one has "violated" any rules of the forum but do be aware how others not "in the know" could perceive what you post.

Thank you for your help gentlemen. -Slopster

I have no photo available and it's 16 degrees outside so I best not put out my fire to get a photo at this time. What I can tell you is I'm not the only one struggling with this company. Read these threads and you will see others (and there are more). The difference between them and me is I've had enough and even if I gain nothing I hope to discourage others from falling into the lies of this company. I do have a hundred or better text messages full of lies from Craig. If there was a way to post those I'd be happy to.

They claim they have the best boilers in America with 20 year warranty. What good are they if they don't honor their word.

Thanks Slopster this is a really good site and I appreciate it being a good resource for people.

I gave Craig the benefit of the doubt for 10 months. During that time I was texting him very politely. He gave excuse after excuse of why the item didn't ship. I am finished playing his games. the stack is all but burned out and I was told to place bricks on the top to cut down airflow...That is not honoring a warranty. If you think that is honoring a warranty you should go to work for him.

So now I have a local machine shop building a fix for the stack and it is costing me 375.00.

No warranty coverage as promised. People before you buy one of these Midwest/Synergy boilers do your research. Matt and Todd on these midwest  threads are also people that have the same problems. Check BBB as well.

Midwest Outdoor Wood Furnace / Re: Cant get a call back from Midwest
« on: January 05, 2015, 08:54:19 AM »
You are funny! Me fake? read through these Midwest threads and Message Todd and Matt just 2 of the others in these with the same problems I am having. The only fake here is Crew11 who is either Craig or Jim from Midwest/Synergy.

Mike and Todd and I are 3 of the 9 people on board as of today. It will grow I am sure. Please don't take my word for it!! You should research this company (Midwest or Synergy) on BBB before you buy. That speaks for itself.

Scott7 simply was there during my problems with Craig/Midwest/Synergy because he was on this site and offered to help. Scott offered free advice. This site is a great resource.

Crew11 is obviously Craig or his staff (like one other dude Jim) This is small potatoes company that claims its boilers are the best in America with a 20 year warranty. When you are buying one they promise the world then disappear. Fact!

I don't waste time to go after people unless they are wrong. These guys are wrong. So Not Buy a Midwest/Synergy Boiler unless you like getting screwed.

Thanks for the emails. So far I have 5 people included in the efforts to get service from Midwest/Synergy Boilers. 20 year warranty with little or NO service. If you have a boiler from these companies and have been lied to or ignored after warranty requests please email me timberlakecrew@gmail.com. I am pushing forward and will meet on 1/6/15 with the attorney to discuss next steps.

One issue several of the people involved have claimed including myself is they never gave a product manual with the units.

Let's not allow others to get treated the way we have been. Email me asap. Thanks

Midwest Outdoor Wood Furnace / 20 year Warranty Midwest/Synergy Boilers
« on: December 16, 2014, 11:40:06 AM »
What all does the warranty cover?
Many Synergy Boiler Outdoor Wood Furnace owners use their furnace to heat multiple buildings from one location. Consult a dealer for the proper model and configurations to heat your space. With the exception of the blower, Synergy Boiler warrants material and labor on any defects in workmanship for twenty years from the purchase date, to the origianl owner.

This is direct from the Synergy Boiler site...Synergy started after Midwest had to shut down due to corrupt business practices. Remember if it quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck, it's a duck!! Don't buy one, they are junk!!

This warranty would be awesome IF it was honored by the liar running the business. Problem is it takes so much time and energy to try and get him to do what he promises that time is up for his lies.

Let's get him. If you were JILTED by these clowns I am gathering info for a class action lawsuit against his complete company.

send emails with your info to timberlakecrew@charter.net

Thanks!!

HERE WE GO AGAIN!! I got tied up listening to Craigs lies again and almost believed he would keep his word. Craig said that he is tired of my BS, imagine that. So I called the attorney I was talking to a while back and he suggested to gather as many JILTED Midwest/Synergy/Midwest Fabrication customers info and then we can move to the next step. please send me an email directly if you are one of the many they have ripped off. I have quite a few from my previous request but feel free to send again to be sure I have yours.

email to timberlakecrew@charter.net

Stay tuned here as I will do updates regarding these crooks.

11
Maybe he sent the check by snail mail...i mean a real snail....I hate to say it but I bet he lied again!! :bash:

12
So how much will it cost me to get the flue fixed and even it Zi do will it just melt again?

13
Flue melts away first season. Just inside the door opening into the firebox upon inspection after season 1 cracks in the steel....as Todd mentioned there is a leak in the water jacket toward the front....not sure what else you would like to know but for a company that spouts off they are the #1 bioiler in the country and have a 20 warranty against all defects and includes labor...I'd say if the boiler has these problems in the first or second season and the owner won't fix or reply there should be something done.

I think the water jacket only surrounds the rear half of the firebox and that may be where the defect is,,,i am no specialist but when water surrounds part and no water around the rest could cause problems with temperature changes possibly..

these are flawed units. It was Midwest...now it's Synergy- same junk. same hack, Craig-  :bash:

14
OK I now know multiple people who purchased a Midwest boiler in the past 2 years and all 3 have similar  design flaws/issues. I am curious as to how many people have problems with the Midwest Boiler (merchandise/warranty/customer service) I am logging each issue so please share each one.

Here is his warranty explanation -- What all does the warranty cover?
Many Synergy Boiler Outdoor Wood Furnace owners use their furnace to heat multiple buildings from one location. Consult a dealer for the proper model and configurations to heat your space. With the exception of the blower, Synergy Boiler warrants material and labor on any defects in workmanship for twenty years from the purchase date, to the origianl owner.

echem...that says material and labor on ANY defects in workmanship for 20 TWENTY years...

Obviously if no one speaks up I cant move forward with action I am planning on taking against Craig.

PM me if you don't want it public. I am going to keep records over the next 60 days and then determine the next step.

Each person that has been ripped off by Midwest (Synergy) has a right to persue compensation through small claims court but there is a local law firm that is open to reviewing the outcome of my study.

Either way Craig is going to pay. One at a time or all at once. He is more than a Boiler hack- AND TOUGH TALKER ON A TELEPHONE--Stay tuned.

Electronics / Johnson Controls A419 Problem
« on: February 04, 2013, 05:25:10 PM »
I set my JC A419 set point to 179f i set the dif to 15 the asd to 1 the OFS to 0 and the SF to 1

It was functioning fine for a full day....fan kicked on around 164f and kicked off around 178f

A little while ago it ran a normal cycle and started to cool....at 172f the blower fired ????

Wondering if anyone knows why? Possibly a defective unit?
