Title: NEW ACME STOVE
Post by: MALACHI 4:1 on January 19, 2013, 09:16:49 PM
I purchased a Acme furnace to burn wood and stoker coal.  I had some issues getting going as this was all new to me.  The customer service from the manufacturer was most impressive.  Black Creek Welding in Shelbina, MO.
I work on equipment for a living.  That being said, I looked at a lot of different furnaces and these units appealed to me due to the fact they are simple design and built like Sherman tanks!  I am heating my house and shop with it.  If something goes wrong, i am not waiting on a circuit board or trying to figure out which chamber got clogged when it is freezing out.  I just run to the local hardware store if something fails and my shop and house stay warm.   11 to 12 hour burn times and found stoker coal for $67 per ton.   Warm house=Happy wife. Cheap coal=happy me

Love this site!
