Aternative to Liquid Armour Water Treatment
« on: March 05, 2016, 02:29:46 PM »

Can anyone recommend a water treatment that has the same protection and performance as the Liquid Armour that Hawken markets that is less expensive?   I want to make certain my system is protected but if I can do so more cost effectively it would be great!

I'm interested as well but we should be careful. If its for warranty purposes they could void the warranty after testing the water because of improper dye or additives.

80 bucks a gallon isn’t that far out of line.

I agree. They were using certified water treatment when i bought mine 9 years ago. I think it was around $65 or $70 a gallon. I used a gallon on the initial fill, bought a second for maintenance, and still have half gallon left.   I send in a annual sample and it s always within spec.

So the general consensus is to stay with the Liquid Armour treatment?
Might be the best bet if ever a warranty claim was needed.
