5050racing - Great point.  I'm waiting for my corrosion inhibitor to arrive.  I needed to add a bit of water due to fitting that was leaking and it took a bit of water from the OWB thus, the reason for topping it off.  I tested with the kit my CB dealer provided me nearly 4 years ago it would not turn pink even when over 40 drops were placed in the water.  I called my CB dealer it indeed does have a shelf life.  If the dark bottle contents has turned to a more of a brownish color instead of the purple color, it's gone bad and you'll need a new bottle.  I test with my water with the new it hit only 15 drops and I want it at 20 to 30.  So, keep an eye on the color of the purple stuff, it can go bad.  I'm hopeful the corrosion inhibitor will arrive early this week.  Roger

I've never had to adjust the ph in the water.  I really wouldn't know what to use if I had to raise it.  I guess the dealer is the best resource.  Roger
