5500 forced air draft
« on: November 26, 2013, 05:53:06 AM »

Just upgraded from a 4400 to a 5500 woodmaster because we added my parents house onto the system.  Do you really think 2 forced air drafts are needed?  I was thinking about unwiring the fan in the back of the boiler.  Do you think this would save any wood?  Do you think it would make a difference?  Thanks

Its a Big stove, they are designed to use 2 fans for a reason, you wouldn't gain anything by doing that and could potentially hurt efficiency
