Recommendations needed for Install of New Baseboard
« on: September 25, 2016, 07:50:18 AM »

Decided to finally replace my old baseboard as the fins were mangled on most and some were missing casing. I have had minor issues removing air in the past but have been able to work it out. I have pex coming out of the floor to tie into once I remove the old. Question is...should I use 90 degree copper fittings with bleeder valves to tie in? Should I use one at every section or one per zone? Any specific recommendations? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

I would use the baseboard tees since they aren't that much more expensive than copper elbows. You could just put plugs in them and switch over to bleeders if needed if you don't think you need bleeders in all of them.
