I've found that stretching it out, putting weights on each end, and letting the hot summer sun bake it for an afternoon works well. But, if you're doing this in the cold, this process will be much less effective.  ;D

Problem with the 20' sticks is that unless you have a 20' trailer, you have the bend them.
I am now using them and they are much easier to deal with than the coiled pipe but my trailer is only 12' long so I have them wrap around the front. Still a U shaped section of pex is easier to use than a coil.

Unload it as soon as you get to the job and they actually straighten out some. I only load it as well right before I leave for a job

Use an extension ladder to support the tube.  Tie it down the centerline of the trailer.  Overhang the tongue as much as you can.  Extend the ladder as far as you need to support the tube.  Tie the extension, so it doesn't slip.  Tie or tape the tube to the ladder.  Flag the end of the ladder.  Follow the rules for long loads in your jurisdiction; here, what I've described is legal "within reason", though I might not take it out for a jaunt on an expressway...
