Scott, I believe I do have the stainless model. I purchased it this past July and was told the stainless upgrades had been made by a factory rep.  You're right about the float level too. When I fist decided to add water I thought I was going to have to add a bunch but after only two gallons I was back to full. I just noticed that it's slowing going down again and thought I would ask here to see what was normal. Hoping I don't have a problem developing. By the way, I'm running a empyre elite 200xt and love it so far. Burning about a cord and half a month and that is strictly burning spruce here in Alaska.

Just wondering how often you guys have to add water?  Seems like I add a little less then a gallon a month.

Thanks again guys.  I got the passcode from Pro Fab today and adjusted the differential so we will see if it helps or not.

Thanks for all the reply’s everyone!  I will definitely try your suggestions.  I have messed around with the way I load it quite a bit and haven’t perfected it yet. I knew this gasser would be finicky but I didn’t really expect it to be this bad.  It seems I have to babysit it more than I was expecting to.  I’m hoping that some of my problem is just a lack of demand on the boiler.  We are having unseasonably warm temps here for Alaska in November (35-40 degress still).  I am on the coast (Valdez) and we never get real cold but probably average 10-20 in the winter with tons of snow.  Scottm7 how did you adjust the differential on your boiler?  I’m thinking that might help me out too.

Hey guys, I’ve been running my Empyre elite XT200 now for about a week.  Everything is going pretty well except I am having problems with bridging and my fire going out.  How do you guys load your box to avoid this?  We are pretty limited here to our selection of wood so I am burning spruce.  I have had a few nights where it didn’t bridge and burned 13 hours or so but more times than not I wake up and it has bridged on me.  Any tips would be awesome! Thanks!

Thanks for the help guys!  How do you guys like your elites so far?  Any problems you’ve encountered? Any other helpful tips?  I'm hoping to be up and running here tomorrow.  Snow will be here soon so I need to get this thing running.  Thanks again

Empyre / Circualtion pumps

Hello everyone, new to the forum and new to the wood boiler world.  I'm currently installing a empyre elite XT 200 at my home here in Alaska.  I am tying into my existing oil boiler through a plate exchanger.  My question is regarding the circulation pumps.  I have one hooked up to the optimizer but do I also need one somewhere in line on the loop going to the house to move the water from the boiler to the plate exchanger?  Any help would be appreciated!
