Title: moisture meter bluetooth

I got meter from Amazon . It works great so far. Has anyone else tried this model ? Debarked oak slabs run about 19%. Same reading as habor freight cheapy lol..

I have a moisture meter (not that one) but it sits on the shelf after checking a few. You kinda can tell by the cracks after you get the hang of it. So I get lazy. :)

We had a bit of debate how dry these slabs were if they were below 30% as most boiler wood you want it around there. We'll out of the 20 bundles they seemed pretty dry . But surprised me just how dry they were. Meter had to brake up the debate. I still get a bit of black build up in the fire box between cycles . But I'm thinking it's do to so dry of slabs there there putting out serious rich smoke in off cycle. It's only around bottom of door and like shiny dry hard super thin coat in the firebox . Might be to do with long off cycles.
