Has anyone built a kiln for drying firewood and used there OWB for the heat source? I am thinking about building one and using my PM 250 for heat. Not shure how economical it would be.

Talking with a welder today, he had to go and weld three holes in a year old 250 for a guy i know. Thats not good. I will find out the scoop sometime soon and report back.

Plumbing / underground lines

What is everyone using these days for underground lines, i have 1.25 now, insulated with closed cell foam but i would like to move the boiler to heat the shop this summer. Digging it up is out of the question. I will need to go with the pre insulated.

Have any off you 250 owners looked closely where the flapper and blower tube meet. Looking at mine the other day and found there was a quarter inch gap on the back side. Looks like the pipe wasnt cut square.

Are any of you guys running your 250,s for DHW this summer? I am using mine right now, not shure it will be a good idea all summer, but will find out. Shure is nice to get the propane bill and it is just 8 gallons.
