Title: Had a bad day
Post by: coolidge on May 07, 2014, 06:15:44 PM
Anyone ever sing that song when things aren't going exactly as planned (most every day)
Had a few hours to cut some wood, well I had about a six foot long but log of ash, about 28" across, crooked as the IRS, you couldn't get a straight toothpick from it.
I figured I would cut too length then rip in half, brand new ripping chain and full chisel.
Guess what they are both junk now, wouldn't you know it there was not one but TWO insulators in that dam tree and I found them. Brought the tree to the swamp hole.

I was cutting a load of logs last spring and just missed hitting a very old maple syrup spile in a sugar maple. It dropped onto my boot.

Put in in the sugar shack for something to look at..

You never know what you'll find.
