No, was thinkin about it, I live in the country so don't have to worry about any problems with the neighbors. Would be nice just to get the smoke up a bit higher.

Yes I do, I think its just the nature of the beast. Im guessing because the door is bigger than the chimney opening the smoke will take the path of least resistance.

Electronics / Re: Wiring OWB so that Aprilaire Humidifier Works

I did that myself, the transformer for the humidifier was hooked to the hum terminal  on cicuit board. Took the black wire off and made a splitter pigtail that comes off the fan terminal.

Thanks for all the info. Fyi I didnt dig up the old line yet but was close and yes the dirt was warm so I was loosing a lot of heat there.

what do you recomend, if i buy something, it might need to lay ontop of ground untill spring. Is foam filled better than the wrapped?

So far the furnace is funning at a shorter duration, this house is only 7 years old so insulation isnt the issue.

Willie yes the return line off the exchanger is considerably cooler when the furnace is running. Its a 007 taco pump which i think is 20 gpm. Im about 80 foot total from boiler to exhanger.
