I would find a good dealer and stick with a reputable mfg. I have no idea which one is better between the 2 you mentioned but it's going to be important to find a dealer you trust. With ANY mfg you will have issues and there will be a learning curve to get the thing dialed in.  All the guys you mentioned will certainly do the job.

If you can afford it I would buy a P&M, but that's the advice everyone will give you based on what they own if they are happy with theirs. One of the best features I like about the ultimizer boilers is that they are bolted together fire box is seperate from the water jacket and so forth so after the EPA laws take affect and I need a new section of my boiler I will still be able to get those parts and they can't say anything about buying parts. I'm hoping with that option it will be the last boiler I have to buy! Nothing wrong with the other brands, they are all better than filling a propane tank.

I've never been around a Wood Master boiler.  I own a P&M boiler.

That being said, there is not a P&M dealer within 4 hours of me, but that doesn't bother me a bit.

There is a Nature's Comfort dealer very close to me and many family and friends have bought boilers from him.  He is an awesome dealer that goes out of his way for his customers.

So, based on happy customers, I've sent business his way because I know he'll take care of people.

If you have someone like that in your area, I'd give him the business.

Will both survive the EPA regulations?  If only one will, go with that one.

I rented a 4 bedroom cape cod 2800 sq. ft with a full basement that had radiant heat in the concrete floor, plus heated the domestic water. House was newer well insulated in Michigan's U.P. and heated with a Woodmaster 4400. I liked the stove and it did a great job keeping us warm. That stove is 8 years old and still heating the house.
