Same here, I have tried several times to contact him, even had a sit down with him in Grayson last year, He has never told me I did anything to upset him in any way. I sure hope his not returning is not in any way my fault?

I don't think I'd be exaggerating if I say we need more people with the knowledge that Slimjim and Scott7m would freely share with us.  Roger

I talk to Scott every once in a while.  He did go through some personal stuff last summer.  He did pop back on here for a few days this winter, but hasn't been back on since.  I can tell you it has nothing to do with Slim.  He chimes in on the Facebook page occasionally too.  I know he is swamped with installs too, with so many people trying to beat the EPA.

Right on cue?  Haha

Yes folks, I did have a lot of personal stuff going on and to be honest,I didn't feel like talking stoves all the time, it put stress on all aspects of my life and although some of it lingers on things are a lot better
I Def have 0 hard feelings towards slim and look forward to hearing from him and others here

Hi,

I don't know you ... But welcome back!.. Lets get this forum rocking and spread the word.  I see no advertisements so the owner is paying out of pocket mostly.  I hope in the future the owner of the site can get enough traffic to allow advertisements of boilers, to help support such a great forum.  Would it be out of hand to accept donations?  I'm all for a donation link to help keep this forum growing.

Hey Scott,

If you ever have a potential customer that wants to look at a Ridgewood in southern Indiana, I would be happy to help you out by showing ours.  We love it!!!

The reason this forum is what it is today is because of lack of advertisements.  People can come here and openly discuss all brands and models and even dealers like me and slim help those no matter the brand.  When advertising dollars start coming in it will go down the tubes in a hurry.

I have spoke with the site owner and don't think he's concerned with the cost or running the site.

But one thing all of us from back in the beginning has been addimant about is keep the banners off of here and let it be purely about getting people to burn wood and helping others
