Got the idea to use my Central Boiler 6048 to cook in. Using a cast iron dutch oven, I have successfully prepared stews, chili,bread, and some desserts. I refer to a dutch oven cookbook for recipes, then place the dutch oven in the corner of my boiler, with a few coals on the lid of the dutch oven, for even cooking.
I have noticed that traditional cooking times may be reduced slightly. I assume the boiler cooks more quickly than a traditional campfire with coals. Does any one else use their oudoor wood furnace for cooking?
