HeatMaster / Re: New R&D chip burner
« on: January 23, 2017, 12:03:22 AM »
Would love to have a residential size of this.  I would literally chip all my wood into my dump trailer and fill through a hopper I could load with my tractor.  That I would love.

Anyone use the broeder pumps?  I have had one going for 2 years and one as a back up.  I also have a stiebel eltron pump that had high regards.  Anyone use one of those?  I haven't yet fired it up.

Any heatmaster dealers in operation around central Wisconsin (Appleton/Fondulac area) I could take a look at one.

Doing well here also.  I don't start burning until December usually.  I have about 1.5-2 cords through mine so far which isn't a gasser.  Knock on wood I haven't had and issues yet so far and everything has been good.  I bought myself a new pump just incase I needed it I would have one on hand.  I really do like my NC a lot it has been very good to me.

Anyway hondaracer, have you heard of the silicone door gaskets?  I've heard they work good, I'm still using my original door gasket and I have a second one I got from my dealer as a spare so I'm good for 4 years or more if they all last this long.

I plan on running mine until the middle/end of march. After that I clean it up and shut the garage door until the next season.

That is my newest saw.  661 with the AT carb.  Runs great so far.  My pops won't run a saw over 20" bar length either, not sure if it's him getting older or his old stubborn ways.  How do u like the stihl 4/2 cycle engine?  I've heard good things!

What is the benefits of leaving the circulation pumps on all through the year?  Seems like a large waste of energy to me.  Especially using 200w of energy.

Seems like heatmaster is the way to go these days.  I love the simplicity of my natures comfort but they have been slowly falling apart due to EPA regulations.  Sad seeing they had to shut down slot of their robotic welders and lay off quite a few employees.  Central has had nothing but poor warranty support for the last 5 years. I haven't yet heard of any heatmaster failures.  I think that would be my next purchase.  My natures comfort is only 2 years old and does a really great job. I can get 24 hour burn times when it's 30 degrees out like today.  When it's negative 20 obviously 12 hour burn times are the best I can get.  How have the heatmaster stoves been doing on burn times?

Up here in Wisconsin the week before was -10 and 30 mph winds. Was losing my wood stove almost 3 times a day.  Was going about 11 hours from a load of wood.  Now it's in the 40s and I only fill it once a day.

I completely understand. I did not know after 10 posts that I wouldn't have to have the review either.  So I guess I'm on the way to a more pleasant expierence!

I was a little annoyed because I posted in the new member section and put on about 5 pictures of my OWB and saws and it didn't post.

I see you got your legend of few years ago. How has it been operating for you?

Why do you not send me a verification email?? I've tried numerous times and waited weeks.  The follow up to post a topic is extremely annoying.  Extremely.  I can buy a 3000 dollar refrigerator without having to do all that online.
