Question for Heatmor owners
« on: August 16, 2013, 10:00:09 AM »

So, I was at the Iowa state fair yesterday and saw the Heatmor display stoves.

I noticed that you could see the ground inside the fire box, like there is no bottom to the stove.  Is it sealed once you buy one or do you have to somehow seal the bottom yourself?

thank you for the answer.
So is there a filler plate between the grate and the sides of the firebox?  The grates are just in the middle and it looks like you would throw wood in there and the small pieces would fall down onto the sand.

everyone above is correct.  I am actually in the middle of my install right now, I have the bottom of mine partially filled with sand.  Its not the best pic as it was getting dark and I didn't have a flash on my phone.  I'll try get a better pic later, and then one with the sand fully installed
