Steam??
« on: November 13, 2014, 10:45:35 AM »

Had our first colder night for the season. 13ºF. When I loaded the stove this morning I noticed steam coming out of the water level indicator port.  The fire was burning hot and the fan just came on. Water temp was 174º. I have the stove set to 185º and a 10º diff.

Is this normal or is something wrong?

Quite normal for a trace of steam in very cold weather like that!

Ok. Thanks. I never saw that with the ML30 before. Must be the difference of the hotter burn

Yes I have seen the same wisps of steam with mine on cold days.
