I am new as well. I do not own a OWB, yet! I found this site while doing my research before buying. I want to say thank you already to everyone. I can already tell i will get good info from you guys.

I agree they are clever. But what scares me is, the operator has to stand right by the winch. Which is the worst place to be, because if and when that cable fails. He is taking it right in the kisser. All bad!!!
