Outside wood furnace
« on: May 01, 2011, 01:19:11 PM »

I am looking to buy an outside wood furnace and was thinking of a Shaver but it appears this may not be a wise choice.  So what does the community suggest?  No, I do not wish nor can I afford a $10,000 system.

Thanks to all

Absolutely without a doubt I recommend a Cadillac Wood Burner.  I own the larger 5600 model and it runs like a dream.  Has a super oversized door, two blowers upper and lower, internal creosote scraper, just a great money savings unit.  Paid for in 3 years with LP fuel savings!
