First and last fires
« on: April 10, 2011, 08:27:11 AM »

I know I've looked at this site the past few years to find out exactly when was the first and last time I used the fire.  So I thought I'd post a thread with an easy to remember name, so next year, I'll be able to see about when the dreaded season will start and end.  Feel free to record your dates in here if you  want.

No... I wake up with the temp at about 68, and by noon, the house is at 74 or so.  It starts to drop around 9pm.  I live in a dome home with lots of windows so it heats up pretty quick.

Fired mine an hour and a half ago here. Added a pump right before that for my shop instead of teeing off the house loop thinking it'd help my 50 degree delta T across the unit heater. It didn't. Return water is still only 120 :bash: NRF-25 in 3rd gear and only 40 feet of 1" copper, 12 elbows. Kinda pisses me off

Did the new pump help U out any?  Make sure U aren’t loosing heat to the ground or air, it really seems that way.
