Shaver Furnace / Re: Ash not what your furnace can do for you......
« on: November 23, 2011, 10:26:29 PM »
I started using the stove the last week of September this year and have not taken any ashes out yet. This is only the 6th. year of using this OWB, but in the past years I have taken them out 3 times a year. The 1st. in late December, the 2nd. in March and the last in May when I shut down for the summer.

Electronics / Re: Current sensing relays

Thanks beeman, but when I did the install I pulled several extra wires through the conduit from the house to the OWB so I used on of them connected to the output of the aquastat to power the neon lamp on my monitering panel. The only thing is, it shows there is power to the fan motor but does not know if the motor is runing or not. It has worked well so far so I am going to let it alone for now.

What if you try spraying wd 40 or something like it in the solenoid shafts and work it a few times and see if it will close all the way.

Ridgekid,
Are you loging many more on time hours now that it is getting colder. I thought that your new systen keeps track of the burn times of your CB.
