Need to replace the float valve
« on: February 05, 2021, 11:06:58 AM »

So in CB's infinite wisdom, I understand that they use a SIDE mounted float that requires draining to below that level. Vertical floats had been around since the invention of the gas tank. :bash:

I have IBC's to drain the tank but anyone have a suggestion for a pump to return the water when done? The Little Giant Pony series looks great but its only rated to 140 degrees. Any one use on for this purpose? Or any other suggestions?

Can you let it cool off a bit? Any submersible utility pump should work fine. Ebay, Amazon, etc.

I have used a small marine bilge pump and 12V power adapter to pump CLR through the hot water side of my flat plate heat exchanger while its in operation before.
