Maverick redi chek et-7
« on: December 12, 2011, 02:40:26 PM »

Now that I have the new x300 temp system operating I don't have a need for it anymore. I gave the et-72 to my son.

Nothing wrong with it except I stuck a label across the face to indicate the two temps I was monitoring, which was water in/out of the hwh. I pulled the sticker but some on the glue is still on the face. Not sure what to use without doing any damage.  I'll let the new owner take care of it.

I paid $35 ( i think, might of been more). Asking $20 which includes shipping.

I'll try to locate the owners manual. If not here's a link.

Looks just like the one I bought. Works great but when I check the temp I get hungry because it says BEEF on it. LOL

Received my Christmas present to myself today. Apparently Santa lives in Pa? Learn something new every day! I'll pick up some batteries when I pick up my son from daycare this evening. I'll give my report after hooking it up tonight.
   Thanks Ridge

I tried to use my meat thermometer to monitor my pipes once and did not have much luck.  I touhght perhaps they were just not very acurate.  How did you interface it to the pipe/water?  I like this idea, I could be able to have it in the bedroom so I know if I really need to get up yet to go feed the fire.  These even have alarms which could be usefull.
